There are 3 million people in San
Diego County any one of whom can be a victim of crime. Every day one in
ten thousand of their fellow citizens, the Deputy District Attorneys of San
Diego, utter the words "For the People" and then seek
justice in the Superior Court of the State of California. Justice for any
one of the victims, justice for the living, for the dead; justice for all.
That's us.
Most of our work is simply
hard and constant and unsung.
Sometimes we make the papers.
Most of the time we don't. We are just there, everyday in
the courtroom, seeking justice, seeking to protect the public, announcing to all what
we are when we say who we are:
For the People.
